Last Tuesday for Ally's preschool class that I am teaching we had some policeman come and visit. The kids were all a little shy at first but once they got to play with the handcuffs it was all over from there.
Now Ally is giving me a turn to wear the handcuffs so she can help me out of them. They actually play games like this a lot at home (except without any handcuffs). They love pretending some one is locked up in the dungeon and they have to rescue them. During class Lizzie Lambourne, one of Ally's friends in the class sat behind the couch with handcuffs in her hand pretending she was trapped in the dungeon. Except she didn't want anyone to rescue her.

Wow, I didn't know you tought preschool! Brave you! That is fun to have the policeman come!
ReplyDeleteTasha, nice strategy to keep the kids in line - just bring some handcuffs! Cute pictures.
