Here is our beautiful Shayla! Right now Shayla loves puzzles and telling us tall tales. She is becoming a very obedient girl and she hates getting into trouble. She also loves her baby brother Eli, even when he beats her up a little bit. He calls her Layla and she calls him E-yai. She has adorable dimples and the kissiest cheeks you ever saw! She still has to wear skirts or dresses everyday and has asked her dad several times to marry her. Little did Josh know he would have to turn down so many marriage proposals in his life time.
We had a waffle dinner party for her birthday topped with homemade ice cream! Some of the people thought I was putting mashed potatoes on her ice cream at the party!
Shayla loved her purse and all the goodies inside of it. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Sylvester! I think the look on her face shows pretty well how much she liked it.
Shayla was acting very shy at picture time, but she loved this dress up dress from our good friends Les and Janine Michie, she wore it everyday for almost three days straight until I finally confiscated it run it through the wash.
We tried to talk Shayla into letting us rewrap all of her presents for Christmas but she didn't go for it.
It was so fun to get together with our great neighbors and friends to celebrate her birthday. I think in the future we will be having half-birthday parties because December birthdays are kind of crazy and we have TWO of them!
