Fish Lake

We went camping at Fish Lake over the Fourth of July weekend for a reunion for Josh's family. It was a beautiful campsite and the girls had so much fun with all of their cousins. It was pretty rainy and wet most of the weekend. We had one nice day which was great because we needed a day to dry off. Unfortunately the day before we were going to leave it hailed and collapsed our tent which soaked most of our bedding and some of our clothing. I was glad to go to a hotel to get a good nights sleep since Shayla hadn't slept well the previous two nights, but I was sad to cut our visit short with the family. We don't get to see each other very often and it would have been nice to be able to stay the whole time.

There was a beautiful little field by one of our campsites just filled with these green grasses and flowers.

Here is Brya and her cousin Brooklyn who lives in San Antonio, Texas.

The girls brought their fishing poles that dad gave them for Christmas and were pretending to fish off this big rock while they were waiting for their turn to go out on the boat with dad and grandpa. The rock they were fishing from was the main location for most of their activities while we were camping.

Here is a picture of one of the many butterflies that were flying around all over the place. The girls were seeing caterpillars all over too and one stowed away on our tent and we found it when we got home. The girls put it in a jar and later that day it actually started making its cocoon.
