Cove Fort

On our way home from Idaho we actually made a couple stops on the way home. These pictures are from our stop at Cove Fort a historical site that the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints runs. It is an old fort that the saints and other travelers used as a refuge from dangers on their journey west. It was really fun and interesting. It was a lot of work keeping the girls where they should be while we were touring the actual fort so we didn't get any pictures of the actual fort. The pictures here are all of us on the grassy area where we picked some unripe apples and had a picnic.
Shayla didn't have any problem munching on these sour little apples, I tried one and couldn't take more than one small bite.

Ally's had this constant dream of climbing a tree so we put her in one and took some pictures of her. She also managed to get quite a few apples up there.

Brya is very proud of the apples that she picked and the little basket she made out of her jacket.

I think this is the only time we got pictures with me in it since I am usually the one taking the pictures.

Shayla was so nice she kept trying to share her apples with me while we were getting our pictures taken.
